About Sunday School  at Madison Street Church

Sunday School classes at Madison Street provide opportunities for persons of all ages to experience faith development within a small group setting. We believe that to grow in our relationship with God and others, we need to share together in the study of scripture, prayer, and fellowship. Each Sunday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. is one of the times we dedicate to spiritual growth. There is a class for people of all ages, from age 2 to eternity!

Currently we have twelve adult classes which offer a variety of class styles and materials. Preschool classes begin at age two and graded classes begin with Kindergarten and extend through the twelfth grade.

If you are not yet involved with a Sunday School class, take this opportunity to read more about each one an find the class for you!

K-5th - Room 305

With the exception of 6 weeks in the fall, school age children are a part of a rotational model of Sunday School. This approach allows children to be active participants in their learning and to have a hands on look at the Bible stories they are studying. Come check out the exciting things happening on 3rd floor in our "Faith Village."

Youth Sunday School

Madison Street youth Sunday School classes offer a curriculum that is bible-based and teachers who are committed to the spiritual growth of youth.

Sixth Grade

The 6th grade youth class employs a number of interactive learning styles. Lessons on any give Sunday may include a spontaneous skit, an opportunity to express ideas in a variety of art forms, or a group-building game.

Seventh & Eighth Grade

Each year, our 7th and 8th graders who have not otherwise participated are invited to complete a 30+ week Confirmation series, led by our Pastors and other staff and lay leaders. This class prepares and assists youth in making important decisions about their faith and church membership and involvement.
