About Sunday School  at Madison Street Church

Sunday School classes at Madison Street provide opportunities for persons of all ages to experience faith development within a small group setting. We believe that to grow in our relationship with God and others, we need to share together in the study of scripture, prayer, and fellowship. Each Sunday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. is one of the times we dedicate to spiritual growth. There is a class for people of all ages, from age 2 to eternity!

Currently we have twelve adult classes which offer a variety of class styles and materials. Preschool classes begin at age two and graded classes begin with Kindergarten and extend through the twelfth grade.

If you are not yet involved with a Sunday School class, take this opportunity to read more about each one an find the class for you!

For more information regarding our Sunday School program, be in touch with: Rev. Jared Wilson, Associate Pastor for Worship, Music & Christian Education.  revjaredwilson.msumc@charterinternet.net

For more information about "Rock Solid" visit www.iamrocksolid.com

Children's Sunday School at Madison Street is "Rock Solid."  Rock Solid is more than just a Sunday School curriculum.  Research shows that a child's faith is developed through interacting with adults of faith.  Faith cannot be taught -- it must be caught.

Rock Solid sessions are built on a firm foundation with a comprehensive 3-year journey through the Bible with story-based experiences rather than verse-based lessons. By learning the key Bible stories, children will be better able to understand and remember the Bible’s message. Rock Solid’s scope and sequence follows the church year.

Youth Sunday School

Jr. High Sunday School - Grades 6-8

The Jr. High Sunday School Class meets each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. in room 202 in the Sarah Mann Center.

High School - Grades 9 - 12

The Sr. High Sunday School Class meets each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Youth Lounge.

The Youth Sunday School Classes share a "LinC" - Living in Christ

LinC engages the youth with a topic that they understand and is relevant to their world. Then, they move deeper into Bible study, equipping each other to evaluate their culture with a biblical perspective.

Each week, LinC uses a news-making headline and sound biblical teaching to inspire youth to live as disciples in the world.
