Adult Small Group
Ministries
Our creation in the
image of God and the struggle to live in accordance with that image is seen
by the world s the highest quality of human wholeness. This wholeness takes
place as we love and nurture one another towards such wholeness, heal our
brokenness, and have a true and real relationship with God and one another
through Jesus Christ.
When God’s
children meet and study in a small group setting, they have the opportunity
to learn more deeply who God is, who they are in relation to God and to one
another. Our model for Christian living is none other than Jesus Christ.
Through the study
of scripture we learn more fully how we are to live in the world and what
God’s plan is for humanity and all creation.
Small groups
assist in the development of a mature faith, patience, kindness, and a
concern for others. They help us commit to the formation of deeper
relationships, meaningful lives, and respect and appreciation for each
other. Our small group ministries offer hospitality to the word, hope of
eternal salvation, and healing as we are made whole in Christ.

Adult Sunday School
Madison Street Church provides
the opportunity for adults of all ages to experience faith development
within a small group setting. We believe that to grow in our relationship
with God and others we need to share together in the study of Scripture,
prayer, and fellowship.
Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. -
10:30 a.m. is one of the times we dedicate to the spiritual development of
adults. There are currently twelve adult classes which include opportunities
for senior adults, middle-age, and young adults. If you are not involved in
an adult Sunday School class you will want to take the opportunity to speak
with either of our pastors and/or visit our
Sunday School Web page..

Senior Adult Ministries
Our senior adult ministries are
at a prime time in their development. There are many opportunities not yet
developed that need only those with a willing heart and hand to give them
life! Currently, our senior adult ministries include:
Serendipity -
This is a group of senior adults who gather once a month for travel,
fellowship, and fun! Most outings are partial to day-long with occasional
overnight excursions. If you would like more information about senior adult
ministries or Serendipity, be in touch with Rev. Dr. LeNoir Culbertson or
Rev. Brian Gilbert.
