Site Church: New Providence United Methodist Church
Programming begins June 5th and runs through July 27th
College students invest in the lives of underserved children while living in community, exploring their calling, and developing as servant leaders.
Children from low-income neighborhoods improve their literacy, social-emotional, and spiritual development through participating in high-quality, out-of-school time programs led by college-age young adults.
Churches in underserved communities host our out-of-school time programs, reconnecting and building relationships with their neighbors.
Read one-on-one with a student at New Providence UMC
Volunteer your time to be a reading volunteer and form a special relationship with one of the children participating in the summer program. MSUMC Volunteers needed in the morning hours July 17th - 20th.
Provide dinner for the PT interns living in community at Austin Peay
This is a great opportunity for groups, such as Sunday School classes, to get
involved together! Stay and fellowship with young adults from across the country who are really making a difference.
Donate new books and supplies at MSUMC
PT relies on support from partner churches to provide supplies. New books, healthy snacks, and sports equipment are always needed. Items may be dropped off in the Mission of the Season bin at the Commerce Street entrance.
Financial contributions are greatly appreciated, as well, and will be accepted at MSUMC. Please note "for Project Transformation" on any monetary donations.
Pray with Project Transformation Tennessee
Whether or not you are able to serve directly, you are invited to join in surrounding the children, interns, families, churches, and volunteers in prayer. PT has prepared a 4-day Prayer Guide, which you may view by clicking the link below, to assist you in praying for God's transformative power to move this summer.
