show God's Love for one another through encouraging works and acts of humble
service and by being good neighbors. "Do you love me? ...Feed my
lambs...take care of my sheep...feed my sheep." (John 21:15-17) "We show
God's love by being good neighbors through generous giving of our personal
resources and faithful stewardship of the world's resources." (UM Baptismal
Covenant and Social Principles)
Grow In God's Love... We
grow in faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ by investing in such
Disciplines as study of the Scriptures, prayer, meditation, Christian
generosity. "...so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all
reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God..."(Ephesians
4:1-16)
