A New Year of VOICE for LIFE begins on Wednesday, September 12, 2012!!!
Choir rehearsals will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

VOICE for LIFE is designed to be a fun and inspirational experience for your child.

In addition to participating regularly in worship, participants in
VOICE for LIFE will learn the basics of how to sing,
music theory, and they will also incorporate the use of Orff instruments and drums in their choirs!

The main purpose...
of VOICE for LIFE is to help children
offer their best praise to God through music in worship!


The curriculum utilized in Madison Street's VOICE for LIFE program
was developed by the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM).
It is an acclaimed choral training guide that provides a framework for
choral singers to develop their vocal skills, musical understanding,
and knowledge of the repertoire.  Sir Sydney Nicholson, former organist of
Westminster Abbey in the United Kingdom, founded the Royal School of Church Music
in 1927 and the organization consisted of a training college for church musicians
and an association of affiliated churches committed to attaining high standards
of musical performance.  Today, more than 11,000 churches in the United States
are Royal School of Church Music affiliates.
