| Madison Street UMC
Preschool is a flexible play experience for children ages
1 thru 4 with emphasis on play and its social aspects. This is accomplished
through creative art field trips, supervised play, cooking and other
activities. Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30
p.m.

Madison Street Preschool is a special place where children
come, and have been coming since 1971, from 9:00 a.m.—2:30 p.m.
on Tuesday and Thursday between Labor Day and Memorial Day.
Though we are a school where children learn about shapes, colors,
letters, numbers and other important fundamentals, the emphasis of
our school is on play, having fun and broadening their horizons.
Music, artwork, story-time, field trips, and many other special
activities offer the children opportunities to interact with others,
to listen and follow directions, to share, to cooperate, to grow in
self-control, and to learn about themselves and the world in which
they live.

All classes will “study” the seasons and holidays occurring in each
month. Each class will also include a unit on ALL ABOUT ME, FIRE
SAFETY, and CLASS AND PLAYGROUND SAFETY.
At Madison Street Pre- School the curriculum and activities are
geared to the different age levels so that your child will have a
positive, rewarding experience.
-
We offer an experienced,
qualified, loving staff with an excellent child-staff ratio.
-
Our class rooms are equipped
with a large variety of instructional materials.
-
We have an outside playground,
as well as, a large room indoors for large muscle skills.
-
We have special visitors at
Madison Street Pre- School. Firemen, police officers, Santa, and
our special story time readers spend time with our children.
Our
staff is eager to introduce the children to painting, clay, cooking
and cutting. We believe since children are
little for such a short time, that they should have fun while
learning.
